KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya appeared on Koffee with Karan.

The Committee of Administrators has issued a show cause notice to the pair, seeking an explanation within 24 hours regarding their comments on women on the talk show. The notice came after Hardik Pandya's apology.

"After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way", Pandya said on Twitter.

Ranveer Singh's rap game is strong in the Gully Boy trailer
And while its team continues to celebrate the moment, Ranveer is here with his next project - Gully Boy . Combining both the happy occasions, farhan celebrated his birthday at the trailer launch.

While Rahul was more measured in his answers, Pandya got "carried away" and made several outlandish comments, for which he was criticised on social media.

"I made an appearance on the chat show where I have made certain statements without realising that these could be disrespectful and offend sensitivities of viewers for which I am sincerely regretful", he wrote in his response, which is in PTI's possession. "At a party my parents asked me 'acha tera wala (women) kaun sa hai [who is your interest here?] so I said yeh, yeh, yeh (pointing out women)' and they were like 'waah proud of you beta", Pandya boasted. "This is sad. Someone of the stature of Bishen Singh Bedi also did not get away with going on a television show in the '70s and was handed a one-match ban", a source was quoted as saying by The Times of India. "Respect", Pandya posted on Twitter. "Cricket is a religion in this country and young boys watching the show are going to follow in the footsteps of their heroes.

In the past also, BCCI has handed bans to players for their indiscretions", sources close to the CoA informed CricketNext.

Hardik Pandya is now in Australia travelling with the India team. "I'm a little from the black side so I need to see how they move". "The other day there was a party", Pandya said. He had joined the team before the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne after recovering from a back injury, which he had suffered during the Asia Cup in UAE previous year. He is now gearing up for the three-match ODI series which starts on January 12.
