The Sheriff's Department said on its Facebook page a suspect was taken into custody, but has no further details. We also want to thank all the Law Enforcement agencies across the state and country that have assisted us in this case.

On Oct. 16, Sheriff Fitzgerald said that they were alerted to the scene by a 911 call made from a cellphone at the home, but revealed that nobody spoke on the call.

Last month, the sheriff's department remained vigilant that Jayme would be found. Sheriff Scott Fitzgerald continued to urge the public to come forward with tips and to keep the story in front of people for as long as possible.

Investigators will discuss the case with the media Friday morning at 10 a.m.at the Barron County Sheriff's office.

Investigators believe Jayme was abducted October 15 before dawn after her parents, James and Denise Closs, aged 56 and 46, were gunned down in their home in Barron.

Twin Cities TV station KSTP reports Closs was expected to be reunited with her family Thursday evening after being checked out at a Duluth, MN hospital.

It remains to be seen whether the Dallas Cowboys will win the Super Bowl this year, but owner Jerry Jones has already scored big. Forbes listed the Cowboys as the most valuable sports franchise in the world in 2018, checking in at approximately $4.8 billion.

Detectives have pursued thousands of tips, watched dozens of surveillance videos and spent countless hours searching for Closs since her October 15 disappearance.

Allard mentioned that the family is "appreciative" of everyone's efforts in helping find Closs. When the dispatcher called the number back, a voice mail greeting indicated the phone belonged to Denise Closs. They didn't find shoe prints inside the Closs's home, Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald told MPR News in December.

"I hope that she's in good shape", the mayor said. Neighbors, family and volunteers gathered to help with searches of the area. "A lot of happy tears in this house tonight".

Both James and Denise were long-time employees of the Jennie-O Turkey Store in Barron.

Closs vanished on October 15 after her parents were fatally shot at their home in Barron County, located about 80 miles northeast of Minneapolis.
