According to a report from NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the Broncos have notified the Pittsburgh Steelers of their intention to speak with Munchak, whose contract as its offensive line coach is up, about a position on Denver's coaching staff.

The Denver Broncos enter the Vic Fangio head coaching era already with support for last year's free agent signing Case Keenum.

It turns out, though, Kubiak will not be joining Fangio's staff.

The Broncos have reportedly been blocking teams from interviewing Kubiak, a decision that may have had major ramifications on the Atlanta Falcons' search for an offensive coordinator. Munchak finished as the runner-up to Fangio for the head-coaching job.

Police in Layton, Utah , say a 17-year-old girl was driving blindfolded when she lost control and crashed into another auto . And the " Bird Box " challenge involves people blindfolding themselves and trying to live life normally.

Since then, Kubiak has worked as a senior personnel adviser for the Broncos. While Gary Kubiak was expected to take on that role, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Friday the two sides could not come to an official agreement.

One thing is clear: if Kubiak wants to return to coaching, it will not be in Denver.

The Broncos ended up picking Fangio, who is coming off wildly successful runs as the Bears and 49ers defensive coordinator, and it certainly sounded like Fangio was open to the idea of Kubiak as his offensive coordinator.
