Freddie Kitchens was already in the building.

The Arizona Cardinals have some pretty specific criteria for what type of defensive coordinator they want.

After an extensive search that saw them interview several candidates, the Browns made a decision to keep their head coach position in-house.

She was reportedly taken to a detention center in the Saudi capital and little more regarding her location or condition is known. In a since-deleted tweet, Ms Alqunun's friends spoke about her concern for her 11-year-old sister's welfare.

From running backs coach to the big chair in 11 months is quite a jump, and it's a move that comes with complications that go well beyond printing new business cards and moving office furniture.

Though the team has yet to announce it, there are several reports that Freddie Kitchens will be the new head coach for the Cleveland Browns. Paxton Lynch, Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler and Case Keenum were all next in a line of quarterbacks not named Manning that Elway failed to win with, and the inability to get the position right factored into Vance Joseph's firing after just two years as head coach. He's mentioned as a candidate in Chicago to replace Vic Fangio, too. At 60 years old and after serving as a defensive coordinator in the league for 19 years, he will be the oldest first-time head coach roaming the sidelines when the 2019 season kicks off.

A person familiar with the decision says the New York Jets have hired former Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase as their head coach. The 40-year-old coach worked as an assistant with Detroit, San Francisco and Denver before being promoted to offensive co-ordinator by the Broncos in 2013 and drawing rave reviews from Peyton Manning.
