Morata has only started 11 of Chelsea FC's 21 Premier League games so far this season and has only managed to net five times in the English top flight.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Radio 5 live, Balague said: "Morata wants to leave Chelsea, it has not been the right club for him".

La Liga Champions Barcelona has rejected a move to sign Chelsea forward this winter after the striker was offered to the Catalan giants.

Atletico Madrid and Sevilla have also expressed an interest in signing the Spain worldwide as Morata looks to end his torrid time in England.

Peter Crouch, who now plays for Stoke City, called upon Chelsea to re-sign former striker Diego Costa, who joined Atletico Madrid just last summer.

The Telegraph also claims Atletico could enter the race to sign Morata this month, favouring a loan deal for the 26-year-old.

"I think [Higuain's] scored about six goals for Milan having had a very good season with Juventus", he said. 'I don't speak about players that aren't with us, only those that are.

While authorities made no explicit connection between the man and Leeds, Derby insist it was made known to them that he was an employee on the football staff at Elland Road.

"I can't confirm or deny anything because coaches wait to see what the club can do".

"The most important thing is that the player himself wants to join Sevilla".

'The player may want to come here over other options, but it is very complicated. "We need to wait until January 31", he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

"I played with him in the Atletico academy and then circumstances changed [Morata went to Getafe for one year before joining Real Madrid's youth setup]".

Now Atletico Madrid are also reportedly interested in the striker and could make a move for him during this month.

"It was a dynamic match between Girona, who tried to hurt us on the break, and us", he said.
