'Uri: The Surgical Strike' embarks Rs 12.43 cr on Day 2

Uri: The Surgical Strike box office collection Day 2: After making us go gaga with his unbelievable performances in movie like Manmarziyan, Raazi and Sanju, Vicky Kaushal is all set to entertain us all again by giving a power packed performance in action thriller, Uri: The Surgical Strike. The film is directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP Movies.

"The Surgical Strike" based on the surgical attacks of 2016, recorded decent numbers on Day one with total amount of Rs 8.20 crore.

Besides Vicky Kaushal, Uri: The Surgical Strike features Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Kirti Kulhari in key roles.

Yesterday makers of 'Uri...' hosted a special screening for the Army personnel. Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan were snapped while making their way towards the screening. She looked gorgeous in a white Lucknawi kurti and mustard yellow Patiala trousers. Ranveer rocked in a white T-Shirt and black track trousers with a grey zipper jacket. Varun looked handsome in a grey sweatshirt and white chino trousers with white sneakers. Filmmaker Karan Johar watched the movie and was in awe of both Kaushal and director Aditya Dhar.

The film clashed with Anupam Kher-Akshaye Khanna starrer "The Accidental Prime Minister" which minted Rs 4.50 crore on the first day. "Till the film is released, you don't have an idea if it is going to work".
