In a Facebook post last week, Carol Benjamin wrote that her young daughter Scarlet was born three months early and developed necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).

Her mother said that Scarlet's hearing was impaired by an antibiotic she was given in the neo-natal intensive care unit to treat an infection.

A baby girl's reaction to hearing her sister's voice for the first time is the best thing you'll see today.

Scarlet was not able to hear clearly, so her parents were not sure if she would be able to communicate like others. It appears the more Scarlet listens, the more she laughs. Scarlet's spontaneous laughter is a joy to behold.

This is the heartwarming moment a baby hears her big sister's voice for the first time after being fitted with hearing aids.

Hasher Jallal Taheb arrested in White House attack plan
After a second confidential informant explained how to use the weapons, Taheb allegedly gave his auto keys to him in exchange for them, according to the complaint.

According to Carole Benjamin, the family initially thought her hearing was relatively good, however, Scarlet failed a hearing test in the hospital and doctors referred her to an audiologist, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

'Hearing aids make a WORLD of difference! Benjamin wrote in the caption accompanying the clip.

"Baby sister!" Halie can be heard calling out to Scarlet in the video.

When her older sister starts speaking to her, the baby starts giggling uncontrollably.

"It has been such a blessing! By the way, I'm crying, you're crying, everyone is crying".
