'I never expected to win the last couple of Australian Open'

A video showing Federer stopped by a security guard in a hallway outside a locker room at the Grand Slam tournament made the rounds on Twitter on Saturday, drawing a mix of amazement and amusement.

"I wanted to get out of the blocks quickly", the 37-year-old said on court afterwards following his 100th match at the Australian Open.

"I had a really good feeling out here today against someone who can be risky", said Federer after reaching the Melbourne fourth round for the 17th time - more than anyone else ever.

"I think he played really well there".

The Greek is arguably the most exciting young star in tennis and he battled to a 6-3 3-6 7-6 (7) 6-4 victory over Nikoloz Basilashvili.

However, the magazine notes, Kelly was removed from the RCA Records (a subsidiary of Sony Music) website Friday morning. Kelly " flew over Sony Music's Los Angeles offices and a protest was staged outside of Sony's NY headquarters.

Meanwhile, Roger Federer's long-time rival Rafal Nadal is set to face Australian Alex de Minaur in the third round as he looks to cement his place in the fourth round, joining Federer in the process.

The Czech veteran reached the semi-finals in 2014 and 2015 but is unseeded this year as he returns from a back injury that nearly forced his retirement last year. I enjoy playing the mixed, as well.

As Federer was exiting the court after winning his match, he happened to meet Nadal.

Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova also advanced, crushing Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-0, 6-3 for a last 16 showdown with fifth seed Sloane Stephens, who beat Petra Martic in straight sets.
