It will be interesting to see whether this success will continue later this month, whether Apex Legends will be able to top 5 million players by the end of February, and whether the number of concurrent players will be further increased! Color us intrigued! With Respawn's pedigree, it's understandable to be excited, and we can't wait to hear more about this new Titanfall game.

Wait, what? EA has revealed that a new Titanfall game will launch later year, despite developer Respawn confirming that Titanfall 3 isn't in development.

Fortunately, it sounds like more Titanfall related content is on the way.

The company said planned investment in the next-generation Juke and Qashqai, also announced in 2016, was unaffected. Unite Union representatives are due to meet with Nissan bosses on Monday to discuss the situation.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson said that the game peaked at almost 600,000 concurrent players by the middle of Tuesday, a day after launch. As you may expect that will include new legends, new weapons, and new loot to help in the fight.

The game is free-to-play, after all, so certain characters and cosmetics will always be locked behind a paywall. PC users can play together with their PlayStation 4 or Xbox One friends, and the only cross-play which is not available is between the two consoles.

The game is available right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and is created to be played as part of a squad, as the only way to take part in Apex Legends is to be part of a three man team. Will you still play it even if it doesn't have walljumping and titans?
