The Frenchman is still sidelined with injury and Guardiola was bemused when asked about Mendy's travels.

Mendy tagged himself at Hong Kong International Airport on his Instagram story on Friday morning.

"I have to install Instagram on my account to control my players because I don't know, really I don't know".

"F***, he's a lucky guy".

Pep Guardiola was left speechless after it was revealed to the Manchester City boss that defender Benjamin Mendy may have travelled to Hong Kong.

"Mendy has a lot of things to improve and hopefully we can convince him to forget a little bit the social media and improve a few things", Guardiola said, per The Guardian.

Some iPhone apps record your actions without permission, report says
These apps have been found to literally record your iPhone screen, without asking for your permission or notifying you about it. These replays allow app developers to record their users' screens and play them back to see how they interacted with the app.

Pep Guardiola was moved to use an expletive on live television when he suddenly became unsure of Benjamin Mendy's whereabouts on Friday afternoon.

Questioned further on whether he would be alright with Mendy making such a long trip, he said: "No, definitely not". It will definitely not be okay if he is in Hong Kong'.

" it was just joking with my uber driver I dont want no problems Pep", he wrote. Guardiola also responded to Aleksander Ceferin after Uefa's president claimed City lacked class for failing to attend a meeting this week regarding VAR.

In Mendy's absence, City reclaimed top spot on the Premier League in midweek with a 2-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.

"But then you count leagues, Barca, Juventus, Bayern, but I'm pretty sure you understand my answer better".
