Current nominees Chloe x Halle, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, and Travis Scott are set to perform on Music's Biggest Night.

Monae hosted the Friday brunch alongside Instagram to celebrate her Grammy nominations, including album of the year for her groundbreaking release, "Dirty Computer". As is the case with most awards shows, the Grammy Awards are mixing the envelopes opening with a ton of performances.

Logic dictates that when you repeatedly shut out the most qualified artists in the biggest genre in the United States, eventually those artists will stop appearing on your show.

Sunday's Grammys will also host the long-awaited return of Dolly Parton, who will take the stage to perform her music from the soundtrack from Dumplin'.

Brandi Carlile, the folk singer nominated for six Grammys including album, song and record of the year, looked to Monae and said: "Girl, I would vote you into presidency". Collaborations include Camila Cabello and J Balvin; Post Malone and Red Hot Chili Peppers; and Dua Lipa and St. Vincent. "I'm especially excited for all the incredible women nominated this year!" "This is just the beginning of moving to a more inclusive future".

The GRAMMYs seem to have an issue with performers this year, yesterday Ariana Grande pulled out of the show due to creative differences. After last year's testosterone-filled broadcast (and Recording Academy Chief Executive Niel Portnow's asinine suggestion that women need to "step up" in order to win more awards), the Academy recruited 900 new voters, expanded its major categories from five nominees to eight, and created a task force to identify unconscious biases that may affect the Grammys' voting process. "It was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more".

It's a far stretch from last year's Grammys, where Lorde was the only women nominated for album of the year and only two women won prizes during the live telecast. Some complained that a black artist should be involved in the tribute, while others said stronger vocalists should perform over Lopez. The nominations are dominated by Drake and Kendrick Lamar, with eight and seven nods, respectively. In what is sure to be a Grammy moment to remember, Yolanda Adams, Fantasia, and Andra Day will honor the legendary Aretha Franklin. Pop superstar Ariana Grande called out show producer Ken Ehrlich after he claimed Grande "felt it was too late for her to pull something together".
