We're expecting a Google Pixel 4 at some point later this year, but so far we haven't heard too many rumors about it. Hopefully, Google will decide to flip the switch for the Pixel 3 when it gets Android Q. It doesn't have two main cameras nor does use the full extent of dual SIM capabilities.

Princess Ubolratana disqualified as Thai PM candidate
The nomination of the king's older sister, who has starred in soap operas and an action movie was a shocking move. The candidacy would have broken with the tradition of the Thai royal family publicly staying out of politics.

To recall, the Google Pixel 3 offers dual SIM support in the form of a regular SIM slot and eSIM. According to a report by XDA Developers, recent commits to Android Open Source Project's (AOSP) Gerrit, Google "will be adding property values in the framework and Telephony service to tell if a device has hardware support for multiSIM functionality". There is also DSDA or Dual SIM, Dual Active, which requires two different radios and allows the SIMs to be used simultaneously - but the smartphone industry mostly uses DSDS for dual SIM support on handsets. Pixel 3 offers what is called the Dual SIM, Single Standby (DSSS). Lastly, DSDA means that both SIMs can be used for calls, texts, and data at the same time. ESIM is only used by a few carriers around the world, including Sprint in the USA, but it can act as a second SIM alongside the hardware SIM when activated. However, the recently filed patent by Google could reveal some information about the next-generation Pixel-branded smartphone. Also available in the latest iPhones and many dual SIM Android smartphones, this basically means that the other SIM can receive calls or texts so long as the primary SIM slot isn't actively being used for the same goal. And a revelation a few weeks ago said that Android Q would receive native support for 3D facial recognition, prompting us to speculate that the Pixel 4 may feature Google's response to Face ID. Comparatively, other Android devices and the latest iPhones support Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) tech, which lets you receive calls and texts on either SIM card.
