Snow is expected to begin in Duluth late Monday night.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather warning statement for the Halton Region. Snow will mix with - or change to ice pellets later Tuesday morning, and to freezing rain Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures will start to taper off again, and Rozinskis says the rain is expected to turn into snow that'll continue throughout Tuesday night and deliver another 5 cm. "But the second one will arrive right on its heels and looks to be more substantial".

A low pressure system is now brewing over the southern USA, which may intensify into a winter storm as it moves over Southern Ontario on Tuesday, the agency said. "Tuesday PM commute could be impacted [with] slick roads, hazardous travel, and low visibility".

Bloody Scenes As Yellow Vest Anti-Government Protests Turn Violent In Paris
The protest in the French capital has passed the National Assembly and will end up near the Eiffel Tower. A man was being held for questioning over the blaze, Paris prosecutors said.

The city will see a small taste of precipitation tonight, with two centimetres of snow expected overnight.

If the air temperature remains above freezing for longer, that precipitation is more likely to be sleet or rain, rather than ice or snow.

Snowfall amounts of 25 to 30 centimeters and blowing snow are forecast for Tuesday, and into Wednesday. While the storm still remains more than 24 hours out, forecasters predict the North Shore and towns west of 495 have the best chance of exceeding 4 inches of snow by the time things are all said and done with this storm.

Last week, freezing rain brought some chaos to the region, with classes being cancelled at both local schools boards and over a dozen flights in and out London being either delayed or cancelled. Rain and Snow are possible by Friday.
