Nintendo Direct confirmed for tomorrow

Super Mario Maker 2 has just been announced during Nintendo's latest direct with a release date of June 2019, just four months away. We also got to see how Nintendo is handling the transition from the Wii U touchpad to the switch screen.

The broadcast is estimated to run for approximately 35 minutes, suggesting there will a ton of news and announcements coming out of it. We could also learn more about Luigi's Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing, both of which are heading to the Nintendo Switch. The reveal at E3 a year ago showed us it features the familiar grid-based gameplay of previous entries, but with some notable changes, such as armies battling each other in combat and a 3D world for players to explore.

After rumours started to circulate earlier this week, the company has finally announced when we can expect to hear more about 2019's upcoming games. Join us, won't you? Nintendo itself has said that Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be one of the games on display, and there might even be a few surprise reveals of previously unannounced games. We know how much Nintendo can pack in in such a short space of time, so get ready to have your hearts broken when they don't reveal the Jet Set Radio Future remaster we've all been waiting for...
