Tetris 99 is exactly what it sounds like: a 99-player game of Tetris where only one player emerges victorious. Nintendo is bringing a sequel to the 2015 Wii U hit Super Mario Maker to its current console. The trailer opens with a gorgeous, Studio Ghibli-style animated intro that mirrors the Game Boy original. Another classic game that got introduced was Tetris 99 - but with a twist as the Battle Royale craze has no limits it seems and has set its sights on the pureness of the retro hit. Both are Switch exclusives set for a 2019 launch, and yet, as bad as it is to be ungrateful for what we did get, it's easy to slip into the "why didn't they show X?" state of mind.

Do the garbage blocks have low self-esteem because we call them garbage?
