Lady Gaga has dismissed rumours she is pregnant and confirmed she was working on a new studio album.

Star magazine had reported that Gaga had been overheard at an Oscars party last month telling friends she was pregnant but did not reveal the identity of the father. Now Gaga herself has chose to weigh in, and she both clarified things and shared some exciting news.

Gaga doesn't seem to be letting the rumor mill grind her down, though. "Yeah, I'm pregnant with #LG6".

However, Gaga - who is fresh off the success of A Star Is Born - took to Twitter on Tuesday to clarify the rumours. She hasn't shared much about what her next album would be like, but she's been rumored to have worked on new music with Mark Ronson, Bloodpop, Sophie, DJ Whiteshadow, and Boys Noize.

Lady Gaga has responded to the reports she is pregnant with her first child - and in the best possible way.

Speaking on United States talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said that she began her rehearsals while working as a hostess to supplement her pocket money as a teenager.

With climate change threatening their future, they ask how adults can truly say that the world is their oyster. The teenager says her activism was inspired by the students of Parkland school in Florida.

"First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet", she said.

She and costar Bradley Cooper sang the track, "Shallow", in a steamy performance at the Oscars, sparking rumors that the pair's chemistry wasn't just onscreen. Yes, people saw love and guess what?

'We're creating a show unlike anything I've done before, ' Gaga previously said in a statement of her Enigma shows. This is a love song. "['Shallow'] is a love song, A Star is Born is a love story".

Yes, Lady Gaga is expecting, but it's not what you think!

"I'm an artist and I guess [Bradley and I] did a good job... fooled ya!" she added.
