After a solid start in which they jumped to a 36-16 advantage in the second quarter, Chicago's shooters went cold while Los Angeles unleashed a 43-point third quarter run after outscoring the Bulls in the second quarter, 39-26.

With Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram out for the season and James on a minutes restriction, they probably won't be mounting the stunning comeback required to even come close to the postseason.

The team lost seven of 10 games heading into the All-Star break, then dropped seven of their next nine heading into Tuesday's matchup with the lowly Chicago Bulls.

Here's a look into the three bold predictions for the Chicago Bulls in taking on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers at home at the United Center on March 12. The Celtics came out spitting fire early in the third quarter to take total command, eventually blowing out the Lakers 120-107. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had one of his best games of the season, as he scored 24 points on 7-for-11 shooting from the field.

Khris Middleton added 23 points, Malcolm Brogdon scored 18, Eric Bledsoe and former Pelicans forward Nikola Mirotic had 14 each and Brook Lopez 13.

LeBron James of the Lakers insists he will return to the playoffs soon.
