Following Zinedine Zidane's decision to come back to the club, it essentially ends any hope the Colombian worldwide had of getting a second chance with Los Blancos.

The 21-year-old has impressed for Porto, since arriving in a €4m (£3.5m) deal from Sao Paulo last summer.

"No, of course I'm not disappointed", Mourinho said on El Chiringuito TV. "I felt I deserved it but the manager makes the decisions".

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wanted Jose Mourinho as coach but was overruled by key dressing room figures, says Roman Calderon.

But after Zidane stepped down as boss and Cristiano Ronaldo left, Bale stayed put in the hope of filling the void up front.

During his previous spell at Real, Zidane and Bale fell out over how the winger should play.

That's the revelation made by Jonathan Barnett, Bale's agent.

Mass shooting reported at mosque in New Zealand
The hospital has alerted the public that it is in lockdown, with no staff or patients able to enter or leave the buildings. A video has been posted on YouTube that appears to show the mass killing at a Deans Ave mosque in Central Christchurch.

Real Madrid have signed Eder Militao from Porto for 50 million euros.

"If that doesn't work out, then we'll talk again".

"He is very happy".

Rodriguez is a playmaker who needs the team to be built around him and while he is a slightly more willing runner than Ozil, he is not a high-octane player and that's what Emery seems to want.

The report goes on to add that Zidane has also been keeping tabs on Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen and Chelsea FC forward Eden Hazard.

After stepping down at the end of last season, Los Blancos appointed Julen Lopetegui who only lasted for about three months before being shown the exit doors.

"Over the period of time it just got worse".
