Pep Guardiola accepts that, should Manchester City not win the Champions League, it will be called a disaster by many - something he disagrees with.

The manager went on to state that his side can still improve, despite the fact they have amassed 73 points from 30 Premier League games so far this season and have a Champions League quarter-final against FC Porto on the horizon following their impressive midweek win over Bayern Munich. "But Jürgen Klopp spent €500m in the last four years".

Adam Lallana got the nod for the last Premier League game, and there would be no eyebrows raised this time if the playmaker was handed another start against Fulham. "They said in Munich I would be judged for not getting to finals". They had a lot of respect for us but I am not sure we always have the same amount of respect for ourselves.

"Just qualifying for the Champions League is incredible success".

Juventus have lost five finals since then but are hoping Ronaldo can fire them to glory this season after his hat-trick knocked out Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

"All the stories will be written, but we will accept these stories because it would mean we would have won the game, which is hard enough and the only thing we think about". When we are in these positions, there are not many complaints.

The unprecedented shootings have been confirmed as an act of terror by NZ's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern . Nine people from India or of Indian origin have gone missing , the Indian envoy in New Zealand has said.

"I can not say something every press conference".

Manchester City won both of their Premier League ties with Tottenham last season and also beat Mauricio Pochettino's side at Wembley earlier in this campaign.

Guardiola is without Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones, Fernandinho, Vincent Kompany and Benjamin Mendy for the sixth-round clash at Swansea.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Chris Kirkland was delighted by the draw, telling Sky Sports News: "I'd prefer being at home for the second leg but I'm extremely happy".

"People can be distracted by the situation, when we come back, with the semifinals maybe of the FA Cup - if we go through - hypothetical semifinals of the cup, that's why we will try. We did it in the past, we did it quite well and we will continue with that".
