Relieved Michigan State fans react to Spartans' tense win over Bradley

Tom Izzo yelling at Aaron Henry on Thursday was a flashpoint moment, an avatar for everyone on either side of the issue to signal what he or she thinks about that brand of coaching.

Michigan State's players walked toward the bench after a Bradley time out and Izzo felt the need to confront freshman forward Aaron Henry. Cassius Winston ultimately restrained Izzo as he yelled at Henry.

After the game, Izzo explained his reasons for getting after Henry.

One view: Izzo crossed the line of decorum even in a sport where coaching screaming is the norm. They were effort related.

Michigan State is set to take on Big Ten rival Minnesota in the Round of 32, and the Golden Gophers were very impressive from beyond the arc in their win over Louisville earlier today. So I have to be better Saturday'.
