Snapchat revamps Android version app

This rebuild app will be faster and less buggy than the original app which was launched back in 2012. The redesign does not implement any major changes in the user interface (UI) or navigation on Snapchat, but the new version is expected to be much faster than the old version with lesser bugs. According to TechCrunch, the spy app developer managed to circumvent Apple's app store by providing the app for download on mirror sites (which enabled the surveillance app developer to bypass Apple's strong app store checks).

The spy app then grabs vital data of the iPhone user's including contacts, photos, audio recordings, videos, and real-time location data. Furthermore, the spyware can be remotely triggered to listen in on conversations.

They chose to rewrite the app from the ground up.

At the Kaspersky Security Analyst Summit in Singapore this week, researchers from the mobile security firm Lookout will present findings on the iOS version of the spyware known as Exodus.
