WhatsApp may change the way users send audio files to contacts

In order to reduce the spread of fake news on its platform, WhatsApp is testing 2 FEATURES, "Forwarding Info" and "Frequently Forwarded Message". Both the features are presently in testing phase and are available in beta version of the app. Facebook has finally heard the complaints of its users, because until now, if you wanted to use WhatsApp on your iPad you had to resort to the web version of the application.

WhatsApp has also been working on features to combat the spread of fake news for quite some time now.

Apple users could soon be able to use WhatsApp on their iPads.

The development of WhatsApp's iPad version comes just as the service continues to upgrade itself. WhatsApp group invite feature has not yet gone live for Indian users, as the company had said it would take a few weeks to roll out globally. No tracks have been found in the iOS app.

Facebook-owned photo-messaging app WhatsApp has introduced its "audio picker" with a new user interface (UI), allowing users to choose a total of 30 audio files to send at once. Again, this means that the app is not available for iPad users on the App Store yet, but it should arrive soon. "The support might be available in the next beta updates on TestFlight", the cited source stated.

Plus, the chat, call, and settings section of the app have been given a split screen view which allows the user to manage multiple options, chats from the same screen.
