Buying a Tesla Is Going to Cost You More

Tesla has previously indicated a mid-2019 launch for the Model 3 in Australia, though that will likely be pricier high-spec Performance variants. The price in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden is equivalent to around €50,000. People looking to buy the $58,400 CAD "Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive" trim option will also now need to visit a physical store to order one.

The electric automaker has removed the Model 3 Standard from its online ordering menu.

We reported a few weeks ago about Model 3 buyers who were complaining about delayed deliveries of their vehicles after Tesla initially promised that the Standard Range cars would ship within 2 to 4 weeks. Tesla explains that the now $39,500 Model 3 Standard Plus "has sold at more than six times the rate of Standard", so the decision was made to simplify production and focus on the Standard Plus.

The leasing option is available for all Model 3 variants with annual mileage caps of 10,000 to 15,000 miles.

And a standard Model 3 costing US$35,000 just became harder for customers to actually order. Notably, the Standard Plus' price increased to $53,700. A really interesting movie is the introduction of Tesla leasing.

Jet’s lenders extend deadline after poor show in first round
The country's largest oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has resumed fuel supply to Jet Airways . Jet Airways has debt of Rs 7,654 crore as of December 31, 2018.

This means that the car's hardware is exactly the same Standard Plus, but it's missing features like "onboard music streaming service, navigation with live traffic visualization, and heated seats".

The new Standard will have a software-limited range that's 10 percent less than the Plus.

In responding a follower on Twitter encouraged Tesla owners to buy a product that covers up a camera over the rear-view mirror of their cars, Musk, 47, confirmed for the first time that the objective of the camera was to record video when owners put their vehicle on the network. Interestingly, Tesla said lease customers won't get the option to buy back their vehicles at the end of the term, because "with full autonomy coming in the future via an over-their-air software update, we plan to use those vehicles in the Tesla ride-hailing network", Tesla wrote.

From 11 April, the Model 3 leasing program launched in the U.S., too, allowing customers to lease a Model 3 through monthly payments in addition to an initial down payment.
