Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker dropping just a few hours ago - we now have news that The LEGO Group has broken the Guinness World Record for the largest display of LEGO Star Wars minifigures.

The original Tantive IV set as released in 2001, making it one of the earliest big Star Wars sets, and was followed by a more detailed re-release in 2009 to celebrate the theme's 10th anniversary.

Build, play and display a legendary Star Wars starship!

Lego and "Star Wars" have been working together ever since the first prequel "Star Wars" film, "The Phantom Menace", was released in 1999.

R2-D2 is there too, though I wouldn't count him as a minifigure, and it seems you can swap Leia's skirt for pants if you'd prefer. When the mission is over, this awesome kids' buildable toy also makes a great centerpiece for any LEGO Star Wars collection.

Includes 5 LEGO® Star WarsTM minifigures: Bail Organa, Princess Leia, Captain Antilles, C-3PO and a Rebel Fleet Trooper, plus an R2-D2 droid LEGO figure. The top hull detaches to reveal a detailed interior including a conference table, weapon rack and a control console with 2 seats for the minifigures.

In fact, this year's Tantive IV comes with 21 more pieces (1,768 in total) than the UCS Rebel blockade runner did.

Recreate awesome moments from the opening scene of Star Wars: A New Hope or play out your own exciting adventures!
