The Detroit Pistons are heading to the National Basketball Association playoffs after defeating the lowly New York Knicks 115-89. Many are speculating that the Pistons' presence in the championship will be short lived, as the Bucks swept the Pistons in the four-game series of the regular season.

Griffin has been dealing with soreness in his left knee and did not play in Detroit's 115-89 win over the Knicks on Wednesday.

The Pistons beat the New York Knicks on Wednesday night, finishing the regular season with a 41-41 record.

The Milwaukee Bucks will host Game 1 of a first-round playoff series with the Detroit Pistons on Sunday at Fiserv Forum at 6 p.m. If the Pistons lose and the Hornets win, Detroit will miss the postseason for the third consecutive year.

"We knew what was at stake", Drummond said. "We're ahead of the curve. We're not where we want to be, but we're not where we were", he added. They will face the Orlando Magic, who clinched the 7-seed with a win over the Charlotte Hornets.
