In Central Texas, Robertson County Sheriff Gerald Yezak told The Associated Press a tornado hit the small city of Franklin, overturning mobile homes and damaging other residences. A tornado was reported in the area 140 miles (225 kilometers) southwest of Memphis, Tennessee, at the time.

The system will begin to move through Alabama overnight and is expected to reach Georgia by Sunday morning.

Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes are all possible. Trees were down and at least some minor damage was reported in residential areas east of the campus.

The Storm Prediction Center says trees and power lines are down in Brewton near the Florida line, and some power is out.

About 65,000 homes and businesses are without power in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama along the path of storms crossing the region.

The same system caused damage in Columbus, Mississippi. Violent weather is unlikely to be as widespread as Saturday, but some of Sunday's storms may be intense.

However, there has been no confirmation from Epic Games regarding what kind of work West has been, and will be, doing for them. Jason West, however, left Respawn in 2013 after founding it and left Vince Zampella in charge as the CEO.

The storm system's death toll rose to at least five on Sunday, when authorities reported the death of a Texas woman whose mobile home was destroyed Saturday night.

Lufkin is about 115 miles (185 kilometers) northeast of Houston.

Tornadoes at that time can be especially unsafe since they are hard to see and people are less likely to receive warnings while they're asleep. The children, ages 3 and 8, were killed when a tree fell on a vehicle Saturday.

The tree "flattened the auto like a pancake", said Capt. Alton Lenderman of the Angelina County Sheriff's Office.

National Weather Service meteorologist John Moore said a possible twister touched down Saturday in the Vicksburg, Miss., area. Capt. Alton Lenderman said the parents, who were in the front seats, were not injured.

A preliminary damage survey found that a tornado with peak intensity of EF-3 and winds up to 140 miles per hour touched down in Robertson County, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
