Easter Egg Hunt This Saturday in Gray Summit

Along with the egg hunt, there will be Easter-themed crafts as well as classic lawn games. Lodge No. 20, Chambers County Fraternal Order of Police, has been hosting this event for many years.

Egg hunters will be divided into the following age groups: 0-3; 4-9; and 9-12. Immediately following the hunt there will be free showings of The LEGO Movie 2 and Smallfoot at Jackson Hole Cinemas.

Open daily from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m., kids can join the Easter salmon scavenger hunt inside the cannery. Along with the Easter egg hunt, that starts at 1:30 p.m. there will be pony rides, wagon rides, crafts and tours of the O'Keefe Mansion, along with lots of room for kids to run around and burn off some of that chocolate infused energy. Do not forget to bring a basket for the eggs, and dress for the weather.

But when we talk of Easter, the first thing that anybody could think of are the Easter Eggs and Easter Bunny. The Easter Eggs are actually chocolate eggs and they are consumed to break the fasting during Lent.

Altitude is celebrating with two Easter egg hunts on Friday, April 19th. Youngsters and their families are invited to meet at the "Easter Headquarters" by the Cheshire Cheese Restaurant in Lonsdale Quay Market on Sunday starting at 10 a.m. It is also suggests the children bring a basket to collect the Easter eggs.

Easter Eggstravaganza. New Life Baptist Church, on Yonge St.in Innisfil, is holding an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt on its nine-acre property, from 10 a.m.to noon.

The Armstrong Easter Egg Hunt takes place April 21 in Memorial Park. Decorate Easter baskets and colour Easter eggs, free!
