Ubisoft Leaks Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

Earlier this evening, Ubisoft announced Ghost Recon Breakpoint, a direct follow-up to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands in which you'll be whisked away to the new open-world island of Auroa.

It's been rumoured and teased for a while now, but the latest Ghost Recon: Breakpoint has now been leaked thanks to a listing on...

Breakpoint is set behind enemy lines on a "mysterious island" with a variety of environments, including fjords and a volcano-plus drones, of course, because it's kind of futuristic in the way Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is. The game's central antagonist will be Wildlands' Cole D. Walker, portrayed by The Punisher's Jon Bernthal, who's betrayed his team and gone off the grid.

"The experience looks set to be highly immersive, embellished by the freedom to personalise your Ghost avatar using thousands of customisation options", says Paul. Your own Ghost will be heavily customisable, with your progression and unlocks carrying through the main game and the PvP bits (which will be available at launch) as well.

Ubisoft published a almost 14-minute-long gameplay walkthrough alongside the announcement trailer.

US sending B-52s to 'warn Iran'
The Abraham Lincoln and its strike group of ships and combat aircraft have been operating in the Mediterranean Sea recently. They said the threats were against the United States forces in Iraq and came from Iran and its "proxy forces".

Of course, because this is a gamer that's out in 2019, there are different versions available, and the shiniest most expensive ones grant earlier access.

Their post-launch plans include new major story updates every four months, including what they describe as the first raid in a Ghost Recon game.

You can see both the reveal trailer and gameplay demo down below.

Ghost Recon Wildlands came out in March 2017 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
