"Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner places the Coffee Cup Gate blame squarely on Emilia Clarke. She has overcome abuse, betrayal, assassination attempts and more to get to where she is. With just two episodes left, the GOT fans have already come up with various theories about who will make the ultimate claim on the Iron Throne.

In the fourth episode of the eighth season of the show, our heroes can be seen celebrating their victory over the White Walkers in Winterfell; drinking crap wine, chewing on chicken legs and literally shitting themselves.

Surprised at the sudden turn of events, a visibly embarrassed Clarke burst out laughing and buried her face in her palms before waving at the camera.

Sophie was stunned when the host Jimmy Fallon dug out two photos of her holding the same cup while posing alongside Bella Ramsey.

While many social media users believed the rogue cup was from Starbucks, it has since been revealed it's from independently run coffee shop Paper Cup in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which is regularly used by the actors while they film nearby. Whereas, British fans will get to stream the second last episode of George RR Martin's epic saga on Sky Atlantic at 2 am on May 13.

The final season of Game of Thrones is drawing towards it's no doubt dramatic conclusion, and it's safe to say the series has divided viewers so far. In fact, all it's really doing is getting people even more excited for the second-to-last episode ever of the show, which arrives this Sunday. A random coffee cup moment.

Later in the interview, when pressed on the circumstances surrounding HBO's decision, he said "George has a great relationship with HBO". Look who it's placed in front of.

Turner wasn't the only cast member who jokingly blamed Clarke for the error.

The 32-year-old actress was attending a basketball match in Houston, Texas over the weekend when a team mascot spotted the Mother of Dragons in the audience and approached her, dropping a takeaway coffee cup and kneeling before his queen.
