Speaking after Sunday's 3-1 win at Burnley to conclude the Premier League campaign, Emery suggested it was far from ideal to be playing the final nearly 3,000 miles away from the homes of the two clubs involved.

Earlier, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Leila Abdullayeva assured Henrikh Mkhitaryan that he would not have problems in Baku.

"Every team that can get to a final is strong enough so, we know Chelsea, we play a lot against them".

Arsenal will take on Chelsea for the consolation prize, the Europa League trophy, in Baku, Azerbaijan, on May 29.

"Today he worked very well and we are going to do all possible to play with him".

Comparing the situation to his experiences with Sevilla, Emery said: "I played one final with Barcelona in the Super Cup in Georgia three years ago and it was the same, two teams from Spain travelling to Tbilisi".

Champions Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, will definitely represent England on the continent.

"Four teams in the final shows everyone what a league the Premier League is and we hope we are ready for the final".

"It's going to be only 6,000 supporters for us, for Chelsea, but the stadium has a capacity of 70,000".
