'Black Mirror' Season 5 Trailer Debuts, Celebrity Cast Revealed!

Variety reports that Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport, and Ludi Lin will all appear in the new installment.

Unlike previous seasons, this one will only include three episodes. It follows the release of season four in December of 2017 and the special interactive episode "Bandersnatch" last Christmas.

Netflix just released a new Black Mirror Season 5 anthology trailer, and it explores how chatbots, smartphones, and other electronics can negatively impact humans, including a mysterious pop star played by Miley Cyrus.

In an exclusive article published by Entertainment Weekly, the outlet finally gave fans a first look at Black Mirror's next batch of episodes. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm - a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone - a Black Mirror reflection. The performances were on point and the series' trademark anti-tech stance was explored from a fun new angle, but the episode itself (really more of a feature, but let's not get dragged into that debate again) felt more like a moderately amusing diversion than the Black Mirror we all know and love.
