The ZenFone 6 is available in the Asus eShop, and will be shipped from May 25. The new Asus Zenfone 6 will be a unique device because it has some interesting characteristics and some premium specifications.

To recall, the Asus Zenfone 4 Max sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The ZenFone 6 from Asus and it conveys an interesting series of features to the table.

One of the main USPs of Zenfone 6 is its incredibly powerful Snapdragon 855 processor and Adreno 640 GPU, which is coupled with either 6GB or 8GB, depending on the variant you select. One with 64GB storage, another with 128GB storage and the last one with 256GB of storage.

The Zenfone 6 has a nice look and feel. The phone packs up to 256GB of inbuilt storage (UFS 2.1), which can be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 2TB). You could simply flip the camera 90º and prop it on a table, for example. According to Asus, the flip module uses a liquid metal amorphous alloy which is both tough and light. For a start, ASUS had to design an entirely new stepper motor to finely control the motion of the flip. The company claims that it has tested 100,000 flips on the smartphone and the camera will also automatically close if the you drop the phone accidentally.

Spotify makes first hardware play with Car Thing
The company's in-car music player was leaked through its app, and it was expected to launch the device sometime later this year. A source familiar with Spotify's plans told The Verge that there is no hard timeline in place for how long the test will run.

As a result, the Zenfone 6 has only two cameras.

The glass back and front design along with metal frames will give you a strong throw-back to the design of the Asus ROG Phone in terms of the nearly brushed metal look.

The Asus ZenFone 6, like Samsung's Galaxy A80, has a dual camera setup with a flipping camera, which can be rotated vertically while taking selfies. According to Asus, the high capacity battery is able to push up to 2-days of usage on a single charge.

What's impressive is that Asus has managed to fit a massive battery with dual stereo speakers, and a headphone jack into the device. Asus has also added a laser-assisted autofocus mechanism along with a Dual LED flash unit to improve the camera package.

There is no IP rating as of now, but Asus claims that the smartphone has some degree of water resistance. It packs in a Non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery at 9.2mm device thickness and weight 190g, running on Android 9.0 (Pie), ZenUI 6. The device comes with a pair of ZenEar Pro Hi-Res earphones, a transparent case, USB-C cable and an 18W charging brick.
