Rome: Coach Massimiliano Allegri will leave Juventus at the end of the season after a reported fall-out with the club's directors, the newly-crowned Serie A champions said in a surprise statement on Friday.

Massimiliano Allegri will not continue as Juventus coach next season after they were knocked out in the Champions League quarter-finals despite signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

Outgoing Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri could join Premier League giants, Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur in this summer transfer window.

Juventus have yet to state who will replace Allegri.

Agnelli spoke glowingly about Allegri's work at the club and five-time Ballon d'Or victor Ronaldo also expressed gratitude for a strong season together.

The Italian will remain in charge for Juventus' final two Serie A matches of the season, having already secured the title last month.
