"The coach and the president, Andrea Agnelli, will meet together with the media at the press conference, which will be held tomorrow, Saturday, May 18". I don't know who, but they will choose a great coach because Juventus is a great club.

The likes of Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho and Didier Deschamps have all been linked with the Juventus job over recent months - hardly a shock considering their career achievements and, in the case of Conte and Mourinho, availability.

The 51-year-old Allegri had tears in his eyes as he looked at the Juventus players, who were all sat in the first few rows. We've all grown together and the right moment has come to leave on the best terms.

The former Cagliari boss, clearly moved by Agnelli's speech in tribute to the club's out-going head coach, is in no doubt Juventus can continue to grow following his departure.

"Only the future will tell us if these decisions are the right ones", said the Juventus president, adding that this had been the most hard choice to make.

United Kingdom leader promises a 'bold offer' on Brexit deal
Bill Cash, the Brexiteer Tory MP who has consistently voted against Mrs May's deal, said: "This is pretty cosmetic stuff". The Brexit party, led by Nigel Farage, topped the poll with 34%, followed by Labour at 20%.

In a brief statement on the club's website, Juventus said: "Massimiliano Allegri will not be on the Juventus bench for the 2019/2020 season".

Allegri's final matches in charge of Juve will see him face high-flying Atalanta and Sampdoria.

"We have to celebrate (Sunday) because these last five years have been absolutely wonderful", Allegri said.

He added: "I read some things that were not correct, for example that I had asked for more years on my contract and a complete revolution".

Although the Argentine is the favourite to succeed Allegri, another report from Tuttosport (via Sportsmole) has claimed that Pep Guardiola would be Juve's dream appointment after he just secured back-to-back Premier League titles with Manchester City.
