After a reported health scare landed him in the hospital last week, it appears that wrestling legend Ric Flair is recovering just fine.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer, famously known in the ring as "Nature Boy", underwent surgery on Monday in Atlanta, PEOPLE confirms.

"He is out of surgery and in the recovery room".

"Doctors said the procedure was a success", his wife, Wendy Barlow, told the site and she thanked all the well-wishers for their prayers and support.

Report says DOJ may try to block T-Mobile/Sprint deal
Rosenworcel acknowledged as much in a second tweet: "We've seen this kind of consolidation in airlines and with drug companies. While the DoJ approved that CenturyLink-Level 3 purchase, it has been notably less happy about the T-Mobile/Sprint merger.

Last week, TMZ was the first to report that Flair, 70, had been rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency.

Flair was in a coma for 11 days in 2017 and was reportedly near death after his intestine ruptured.

According to TMZ.com, Ric Flair is being pulled from the upcoming Starrcast roast due to recovery from surgery. It's no secret that Flair has dealt with heart issues for years and he noted in his book that those issues stem from his hard partying from decades on the road since the 1970s. That surgery was supposed to take place today.
