Honor also seems to have worked on the image processing algorithm, an area where we felt both Huawei and Honor trailed behind their peers.

However, despite Huawei's Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro launhin to rave reviews and reception, the smartphone may fail to launch after all. The Honor 20 series was announced earlier today and the company is touting the cameras once again.

Despite its parent Huawei now being faced with a very hard time, following the trade ban imposed by the U.S government and Google cutting ties with it, Honor hasn't delayed the launch of its latest flagship lineup - the Honor 20 series.

Both the main and telephoto cameras have 4-axis optical image stabilisation, which allied to the incredibly high sensor sensitivity should help eliminate any blur from camera shake, even in very dark lighting.

OnePlus imaging director Simon Liu talked with Wired UK regarding the improvements in the camera stack and the triple rear camera setup found in the Pro variant of OnePlus 7. This includes a 48MP (Sony IMX586) main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture wide-angled lens, a 16MP f/2.2 aperture ultra-wide angled camera, a 2MP depth assist camera and a 2MP macro camera with a focal distance of 4cm. There's a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button, a USB-C port on the bottom, and a hole-punch cutout in the top left of the screen to fit a 32MP f/2.0 camera.

The highly anticipated OnePlus 7 Pro is now available in Malaysia.

A product team official of Honor said that the three smartphones that were unveiled will be launched in India on June 11 and there is no change in schedule as of now.

EE will switch on its 5G network on 30 May
At launch, EE says it will offer SIM-only plans from £32 per month which will include 20GB of data. This will have a negative impact on 5G consumer takeup in the short term.

A slightly advanced version of the Honor 20, the Honor 20 Pro, differs in terms of battery size, storage and the fourth rear camera. Unsurprisingly, the Honor 20 Pro boasts the most impressive camera specs of the trio and will be the model of choice for keen photographers.

Most of the technical data sheet of Honor 20 and 20 Pro is in common, but obviously, there are some differences: these mainly concern the photographic sector, but they also touch on other details.

This smartphone is powered by the Kirin 710 chipset, coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The company is calling the design on the back their "Dynamic Holographic Design". The battery gets a slight step down to 3,750 mAh but retains support for fast charging.

The Honor 20 Pro will come on the market with a suggested retail price of Euro 599, while the Honor 20 will cost Euro 499. While this may sound like a new software overlay, in my short time with the phone, I noticed nothing different from Huawei's usual EMUI.

All the three phones support Dual SIM and run Android 9.0 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top. This is going to translate to 50% charge in just under 30 minutes. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5 SuperCharge. The DxOMark Labs notes that Honor 20 Pro achieved this score with a camera firmware not yet available to consumers and Honor plans to release it as an OTA update at a later stage.

According to the company, the colour layer of HONOR 20 Series is combined with the glass and depth layer in a vacuum environment under the precise control of temperature and pressure.
