After tonight's show at Croke Park the Spice Girls will head to Cardiff's Principality Stadium (May 27), the Etihad Stadium in Manchester (May 29 to June 1), Coventry Ricoh Arena (June 3-4), Sunderland Stadium Of Light (June 6), Edinburgh BT Murrayfield Stadium (June 8), Bristol Ashton Gate Stadium (June 10) and London's Wembley Stadium (June 13-15).

Nineties girl band the Spice Girls return to the stage as a foursome on Friday, kicking off a reunion tour in Dublin with happy wishes from their absent band mate Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham.

"We will see you in Cardiff".

But fans complained on social media about problems with the sound and some concert goers were said to have walked out in "huge numbers".

"Are we excited? We're off the scale!" We want every single one of you to feel special tonight.

Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie C of The Spice Girls perform on the first night of the band's tour at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

The source said that the remark created tension within the band, and even put the current tour in jeopardy, adding: "If they manage those United Kingdom dates then that will be the last you ever see of the Spice Girls".

Horner greeted the crowd saying: "Welcome to Spice World".

MI hires Juwan Howard as basketball coach
In his 19-year career, Howard appeared in 1,208 games with 900 starts while averaging 13.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists. He averaged 15.3 points and 7.5 rebounds for his career, helping MI reach consecutive Final Fours in 1992 and 1993.

More than 70,000 fans turned out to see Brown, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm perform the 1990s group's biggest hits in the dazzling show, which included a number of outfit changes and messages of diversity and unity throughout.

"It's 21 years in the making".

But some fans said they could not hear.

But Mandy Phelan, 23, who was walking to the stadium in a short Union Jack dress and orange platform boots, was less fussed: "We're not mad on Posh, to be honest".

The band announced their 13-date United Kingdom stadium tour in November, their first reunion since they joined forces to close out the Olympic Games in London in 2012.

Earlier this week, Brown told fans she had suffered a recent health scare of inflammations in both her eyes.

The British star uploaded a snap wearing an eye patch and said she was in "a lot of pain", before praising the NHS staff for the help she received with her sight. I love you all so much, more than ever! Bunton wrote on Instagram on Thursday beside a picture of herself at Dublin's Croke Park stadium.
