Jon Voight: Trump Greatest President Since Lincoln

Many Twitter users have seen Voight's recent uploads, and it's fair to say that many are inclined to disagree with his statements.

This is not even the first time that Voight shows support to Trump and the Republican Party.

In the videos Voight said the nation is doing well under Trump's leadership, and called for Republicans to not "be fooled" by the left. Comparing Trump to Lincoln is the anvil that broke the donkey's back, it seems.

During an inauguration event at the Lincoln Monument in January 2017, Voight said that "God answered all our prayers" with Trump's election.

"They're wonderful people who we need very much at this time when our president is being attacked with lies and slanders from the media", he said in that video in April.

Others, however, sent rolling-eyes memes and dismissed him as "crazy as hell" for his comments, or suggested that maybe Trump had written the script for Voight's videos. And President Lincoln, who sits here with us [referring to the statue behind him] I am sure is smiling knowing that America will be saved by an honest and good man who will work for all of the people, no matter their creed or color'. Voight also recently played Justice Warren E. Burger in the film "Roe v. Wade" (in post-production), which tells the story of the "national battle in this untold conspiracy that led to the most famous and controversial court case in history". His decades-long career includes movie roles in "Deliverance", "Mission: Impossible", "Anaconda", "Zoolander", and "Transformers" as well as television roles in "24" and "Ray Donovan". Why not just one 90-second clip? - in which he whined and complained about the liberal left not supporting Trump before making his outrageous Lincoln claim.
