Dragon Quest XI S is releasing on September 27, new screenshots

At E3 2019, Nintendo livestreamed its Nintendo Direct event on its YouTube channel like every time to bring all the updates that the company is working on.

Here's a rundown of all of the new games and information we learned about at E3's 2019 Nintendo presentation.

Heroes of each of the long-running series, the biggest selling in its home country, then joined the fray, led by the unnamed protagonist of the most recent entry.

The Fighter Pass, which will bring five new characters to the game through February 2020 will be gather several heroes from the Dragon Quest franchise. Though the name might seem unusual at first, in reality, The Hero is a collection of protagonists from four different Dragon Quest games, including the newest title Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 27. That's quite the way out of the original 2019 release date sadly, but from the looks of the trailer and gameplay shown off at the Nintendo E3 2019 direct, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is going to be worth the wait.

-One significant bummer: The new Animal Crossing game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, won't be out until March 20, 2020, which is later than expected.
