HTC announced a June 11 event last week, and the company has indeed revealed a new smartphone today. Today, they announced the HTC U19e, a mid-range phone with decent specs that likely won't show up on United States soil any time soon. It has Quick Charge 4.0 support, a rear fingerprint reader, and a semi-see-through backside. On the front, you'll find a 24MP f/2.0 aperture lens and, surprisingly, a 2MP iris scanner for secure facial recognition. This marks a move from a series-based naming system (U11 U12) to a (presumably) year-based one, with the number 19 for devices launched in 2019 - because obviously, product nomenclature is HTC's biggest problem right now.

In terms of the imaging capabilities, the new HTC phone houses a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 12-megapixel primary shooter with an f/1.8 lens and a 20-megapixel shooter with an f/2.6 lens. It runs on Android9.0 Pie out of the box with HTC Sense UI laid on top.

The phone measures 156.5x75.9x8mm and weighs 180 grams. Additionally, you will get HTC BoomSound dual speakers, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C.

It contained the master recordings from an array of artists spanning over 60 years and a variety of genres. Other master recordings reportedly lost in the flames include offerings from Bobby (Blue) Bland, B.B.

On the front, it sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio.

The Desire 19+, HTC's first notched smartphone Representing a first for HTC, the Desire 19+ features a large display paired with a waterdrop notch. It has a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor under the hood, clubbed with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage respectively.

According to HTC, the HTC U19e carries a price tag of TWD 14,900 (roughly Rs. 33,000) and it will be offered in Extraordinary Purple and Modest Green colours. Keeping the lights on is a 3,850mAh battery. As of now, there is no information about the availability of both these devices in other markets. The visible internals are most likely fake like the transparent editions of Xiaomi phones.
