De Gea has just one year left on his contract and has refused to sign an extension so United may be forced to cash-in this summer with the likes of PSG and Juventus being touted in the media as potential suitors.

According to ESPN, Atletico Madrid shot-stopper Jan Oblak is reportedly interested in joining United, whom he grew up watching and supporting as a kid.

According to the same story, Manchester United are reluctant to allow De Gea to run down the remaining months on his Manchester United contract and leave on a free transfer in 2020.

Oblak kept the most clean sheets in La Liga this season and once again won the highly respected La Liga Zamora Trophy, awarded to the goalkeeper with the best goals to game ratio. Despite the Red Devils' numerous attempts to tie him down to a new deal, de Gea is yet to put pen to paper.

Manchester United were believed to be looking at Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan as a possible replacement for de Gea.

Jupiter and FOUR of its moons will shine in the night sky
The largest planet in our solar system, which is comprised mostly of gas, will be visible to Earthlings all of this month. Then on Wednesday, Jupiter will actually be at its closest point to Earth this year - at just 640,862,318 kilometres.

As per ESPN, Jan Oblak is unhappy with Atletico Madrid and is considering moving away. In April, they were seeking to possibly activate the €120 million buyout clause present in his contract.

As such, the 26-year-old is hoping to get out of Diego Simeone's side and apparently has his eyes firmly set on a switch to Manchester United. But, the Slovenian global is now intent on securing an exit after he feels let down by the club's transfer planning.

The quartet of Lucas Hernandez, Diego Godin, Filipe Luis and Juanfran are heading towards the exit doors at the Wanda Metropolitano. The Slovenian goalkeeper is allegedly eager to join Manchester United.

He has also become anxious that the club will lose their best players this summer, with star man Antoine Griezmann submitting a transfer request.
