Ruiz pulled off one of the greatest shocks in boxing history at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, finishing favourite Joshua in the seventh round to capture the IBF, WBA and WBO titles.

Joshua's defeat has also scuppered plans for the British boxer to fight Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, at least according to Wilder's promoter Bob Arum, who said that American audiences wouldn't pay to see that right now.

Both men have stated where they would like it to take place, with Hearn claiming Joshua's side will have the final say.
