Love Island 2019 only kicked off last week on Monday, June 3 with 12 singletons going into the famous ITV2 villa.

A spokesperson for the show confirmed bosses and Sherif came to a mutual agreement to leave the villa.

Now a TV insider has shed a little more information on why Sherif left Love Island.

'I regret that I didn't conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20-year-old guy, it's something I know I will take on board and learn from.

Love Island fans swarmed social media following the news that Islander Sherif has been ejected from the villa for breaking rules.

Producers have also refused to specify which rule/s Sherif broke to result in his eviction.

"I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside".

When we play them, we want to play the same brand of cricket that we are playing, what we executed in the past couple of games. It is just performance-wise, we haven't put in the performances we need.

The Anton/Anna situation is referring to Sherif's "coupled up" partner Anna Vakili, and fellow villa resident Anton Danyluk.

The 20-year-old rugby player was removed from the show, ITV announced today, due to "poor judgement" and not "conducting himself in the right way".

Malia Arkian was the first person to get kicked out of the villa after an altercation with Kady McDermott.

A source told MailOnline: 'Sherif's departure will be addressed on the show, (thought to be Wednesday's episode), but the reasons behind it will not be'.

Speaking about the incident on Twitter, Kady said: "Sassy little Kady weren't I meow", before adding to her 381k followers: "She punched me in the nose after and gave me a nose bleed but they didn't show it as too graphic".

Malia was soon forced to leave the show and Kady went on to bag her co-star Scott Thomas and continued to date for a number of months.

"But I'm his mum, I'm going to think it was a bit unfair".
