ASUS confirms the ROG Phone 2 will include a 120Hz display

This bad boy will apparently sport an extra-sharp screen with a blazing fast 120Hz refresh rate, created to fully immerse mobile users in silky smooth fighting experiences like those offered by a game called "Under One Person". Now that the company has started sharing official information on the ROG Phone 2, its arrival could be close at hand. The firm has also promised that upcoming games will be enhanced to deliver 120 Hz experience. That's why ASUS has some fantastic news for mobile gamers, as its recent post from Weibo just confirmed a 120Hz display in the new ASUS ROG Phone 2. This is the first mainstream phone to be released using a display with a high refresh rate, and hopefully not the last.

This will make the ROG Phone 2, the third smartphone with a 120Hz display after the Razer Phone and Razer Phone 2. More importantly, some are hoping that the new phone will still be compatible with all of the original accessories that came with the ROG Phone. The other two were the Razer Phone and Razer Phone unveiled in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

However, it is being speculating that the Snapdragon 855 chipset will be present under the hood of the ROG Phone 2. However, the exact launch date is yet to be disclosed.
