In September past year, Dutta had alleged that Patekar misbehaved with her on the sets of "Horn Ok Please" in 2008 while shooting for a special dance number for the movie, and went on to file an FIR against the "Welcome" star.

As per current reports, the police have made a decision to close the Tanushree Dutta, Nana Patekar sexual harassment case after they failed to receive any evidence against the actor.

When the police say they cannot find evidence, this could either mean that the evidence does not exist, or that it exists but the investigation was poor or hard and the police, thus, did not bring the evidence to the prosecution.

"If the police file any B or C classification of Summary Report, that can not be final".

She also questioned the haste with which the Mumbai Police had filed the closure report into her allegations of sexual harassment by Patekar 10 years ago.

"Her statement, as reported by Times Now, said, ".if rape accused Alok Nath got a clean chit and returned to movies then surely it was not going to be hard for harassment accused Nana Patekar to get himself or shall we say buy himself a clean chit to continue to bully hapless young women". "We can oppose it and after hearing us, the court, if satisfied, can direct the police to re-investigate or conduct further probe", he said.

He operates as New England's de facto GM and is the top front-office aid to Bill Belichick in player personnel matters. Clearly, the Patriots were intent on keeping Caserio, and the news of the tampering charges only further that fact.

Advocate Nitin Satpute who is representing Tanushree Dutta said: "Police acted negligently to protect Nana Patekar". However, he also affirmed that if the complainant wants, they can definitely challenge the closure report and pursue the case further until it reaches a logical conclusion.

She said in her police complaint that Nana Patekar had harassed her and when she complained, she was forced to perform intimate dance steps with the senior actor.

Ms Dutta claimed their witnesses were silenced and "fake witnesses" were put forth to weaken the case. Being a woman in India this is something we all have got used to.

The suburban Oshiwara police on Wednesday filed a "B Summary" report before a metropolitan magistrate in Andheri, Deputy Commissioner of Police Paramjit Singh Dahiya told news agency PTI. According to her, choreographer Ganesh Acharya had also stepped aside "obediently" when Nana tried to do this. On the other hand, after she came out and spoke about the incident, Nana Patekar clearly denied all charges.

Tanushree Dutta had been out of sight for years before she emerged with the allegations in September last year.
