Season 5 of Love Island now has a confirmed start date with the show launching at 9PM on Monday, June 3.

The 23-year-old professional dancer - who, along with his sibling, was attacked in a nightclub over new year - looks set to head to the Majorcan villa next month, with the programme confirmed for a June 3rd start.

The Love Island 2019 start date is now a mere two weeks away - and we can not wait to find out what the latest batch of singletons has in store.

The official ITV2 Twitter account posted a short video showing host Caroline Flack floating on a lilo in a swimming pool, with the caption #DayDotIsComing along with the broadcast date.

Last year's series was won by Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, who have since separated. Why is it only his show being pulled off the air?

She captioned the snap: "Mid shooting for something very exciting back at the island where it all began".

Doctor finds 100 bubble tea pearls in girl's abdomen
It may surprise you to know that bubble tea has actually been around since the 80s, when it was created in Taiwan. Doctor Zhang said: "She must be hiding the true number of pearl milk tea she had".

Former "Love Island" contestant Malin Andersson recently called for the show to take a break.

The Daily Star reports that they will receive this sum to "compensate" for their time on the show.

Love Island contestants can expect to make a small fortune after leaving the villa from charcoal toothpaste sponsorship deals and the like - not to mention the £50,000 prize money if they win - but they also reportedly get a weekly salary for appearing on the show.

But when does Love Island 2019 start and what else do you need to know?

Following Thalassitis's death, Love Island bosses revealed that they had undertaken a review six months earlier to evaluate the after care it was providing. I just think the aftercare and the analysis beforehand needs to be properly thought out and properly considered.
