Each of the floors featured in the upcoming title will have its own separate theme, differentiating Luigi's Mansion 3 from its predecessors in a pretty big way. It's interesting addition that is meant to add another layer of puzzle solving mechanics to the game, allowing the player to swap back and forth between the two characters to overcome varying challenges.

The rest of the game is full of improvements over the first two, as Luigi can now jump using the Poltergust with a Burst function.

Details are still sketchy at this point, but what is known, is that this shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence. According to police, the victim's roommate woke up around 5 a.m. local time Saturday to a racket in the living room.

After being revealed in a Nintendo Direct last September as a stinger to end the conference, we finally got to see more of Luigi's Mansion 3. The mansion is actually a hotel this time around! Gooigi can only withstand water less well.

To that end, Luigi's Mansion 3 will also feature online co-op modes with multiple Luigis. The key feature for this is the ability to create Gooigi, a slimey clone of the titular character that was well originally introduced when the 3DS remake of Luigi's Mansion had originally dropped. For example, Gooigi will be able to slip through bars and spikes that Luigi can't get through. There's even a new "Suction Shot" added to the game, which allows Luigi to shoot plungers-on-a-rope with his vacuum, allowing him to disarm more defensive-minded ghosts of their objects. As with all other Switch multiplayer games, you'll need a Nintendo Switch Online membership in order to play with other gamers online. We just hope it's not another scare.
