The folks at PlayStation are now working to get the network back online.

UK PS4 gamers are facing a frustrating evening as the PSN PlayStation Network appears to be down, or at the very least suffering from major issues. Everything that the official Network Service Status page for PlayStation Network tracks has an angry red light next to it as of this writing, which includes the Account Management and Gaming and Social services for PSN - meaning users could encounter difficulty signing into their systems or even launching their games. "Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience", the message reads. "Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible".

It said: "We're aware that some users are experiencing issues logging into PSN".

Although Sony shared a response to PlayStation owners that "some users" are experiencing difficulties, the support tweet has amassed over 6.2 thousand replies, with no indication of the network being fixed.
