"One of the pins on Swift's jacket says "Calm.' In her single "Me!" the word "calm" is exchanged multiple times between Swift and Urie". Taylor's new single, "You Need To Calm Down" dropped Friday morning at Midnight, and needless to say, her fans could not calm down. The singer-songwriter has had fans waiting on the edge of their seats waiting for her to confirm a new album, and the news has finally arrived, in addition to a new song!

The first verse has Swift checking out her own social media mentions: "You are somebody that I don't know / But you're takin' shots at me like it's Patron / And I'm must like, damn, it's 7 a.m. / Say it in the street, that's a knockout / But you say it in a tweet, that's a cop-out".

The song simultaneously calls out mean keyboard warriors and acts as a Pride anthem - just in time for Pride Month. The song itself is bright and bubbly, while fans speculated the butterfly-filled music video symbolized the retirement of Swift's dark "Reputation"-era snake imagery". AND she also has a new single called "You Need to Calm Down". "This album in tone is very romantic", Taylor promised of the forthcoming record. Because the video is very worth the wait. "You can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through things in your life... it just looks at those things through a romantic gaze". "I think the idea of something being romantic, it doesn't have to be a happy song". The album will have four separate deluxe editions available at Target.

While live, Swift mentioned that Lover is going to be a "really romantic" album. "An easy way to remember that date is that August is the eighth month of the year", she said.
