Patrons from Texas to NY to Florida are tweeting photos and videos of dozens of customers waiting in line with red shopping carts filled with products, unable to check out seemingly due to computer issues. Officials say the issue spans nation-wide.

The company posted on Twitter, "We are aware of a systems issue in store and are working as quickly as possible to get this fixed".

Target Corporate recently tweeted their apologies for the inconvenience and said their "teams are troubleshooting now".

The outage is causing extended wait times for customers hoping to check out.

Australia vs Sri Lanka
The pair passed fifty for the opening wicket for the fourth time in five games at the World Cup. Mendis's mistimed drive off Starc reduced Sri Lanka to 222-7 and shattered their resistance.

Target, which has more than 1,800 stores across the US, said it would "provide an update as soon as possible". "Every single register at the Richfield [Target] is down".

Target has since caught wind of what's happening and tweeted out an apology to customers who were affected.

The cash registers have been down for more than an hour, according to customers and staff.
